1993 – Transfer to an Individual Course of Study with a GPA of 4.53/5 under Prof. Jan Grochowski, MD, PhD, at the Polish-American Institute of Pediatrics. Beginning of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, including congenital hand and craniofacial defects. Commencement of training in microsurgical techniques.

1997 – Commencement of specialization in pediatric surgery. Head of specialization: Dr. habil. Jacek Puchała, MD.

1998 – Completion of microsurgery training in Wrocław, awarded distinction for the best microsurgical anastomoses.

1999 – One-month fellowship at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Würzburg.

2000 – Completion of the first-level specialization in pediatric surgery with a very good result.

2002 – Commencement of second-level specialization in pediatric surgery after a two-year waiting period due to a lack of available training positions at the Department of Pediatric Surgery, then headed by Dr. habil. Adam Byśek, MD.

3-month fellowship at The Center for Human Appearance, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, as part of craniofacial surgery training initiated in 1994 under the supervision of Prof. Scott Bartlett, MD, through annually conducted joint surgical procedures.

2007 – Resignation from continuation of specialization in pediatric surgery and qualification for specialization in plastic surgery.

2008–2012 – Specialization in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, completed with the final examination on April 13, 2012, with an excellent result.

- First assistant in the first facial reconstruction procedure in Poland using Integra DTR.

- Performance of the first corrective–reconstructive procedure in Poland using Integra combined with autologous keratinocyte cell culture.

- First assistant in the first monobloc procedure in Poland – a reconstructive advancement of the craniofacial skeleton.

- First assistant in the world’s youngest patient undergoing a microsurgical free vascularized latissimus dorsi muscle transfer, performed in a 13-month-old child for reconstruction of the cranial soft tissues. Other:

- Performance of the first peripheral nerve reconstruction in Poland in a child using the biocompatible nerve conduit NeuraGen, including the first reconstruction in Poland of a 3.5 cm forearm nerve defect using this method.

- Performance of the first bilateral hand replantation in Poland (2015).

- Inclusion of the Lesser Poland Burn and Plastic Surgery Center (MCOP) in 2012 in the informal national replantation service and burn care network coordinated by the Polish Medical Air Rescue.

- Development of the Kraków Replantation Procedures (2015).

- Serving as Chair of the Expert Committee for Burn Treatment in Poland (from 2015 to present), a committee appointed by the National Consultant in Plastic Surgery.

- Serving as a member of the Medical Procedures Committee under the National Consultant in Plastic Surgery (since 2015).

- Serving as a member of the Expert Committee for Frostbite Treatment appointed by the High Altitude Medicine Society.
